Why I Love My Family - Reason #237
So we have this family tradition of posting comic strips inside the doors of our cupboards. Been going on for years. Funny exchange from this afternoon...
[Setting: kitchen, meal time]
Rachael [standing with the cupboard doors open, reading]
Me [mock indignation]: Hey, get over here and eat!
R: Dad, I'm reading the comics.
Me: Rachael, those things have been up there for 10 years!
R: Dad, I'm 10. This is the first time I've been tall enough to read them.
I love my family.
